Welcome to My World

04/21/2011

I am many things, a mother, a daughter, a wife, an aunt, a cousin, a peacemaker, a teacher, a nurse, a lover, and sometimes a hater. I am LDS (or Mormon). I also have mental illnesses to add to that list. Those scary words, that often send people running. I have bi-polar disorder, PTSD (post traumatic stress syndrome), and GAD (generalized anxiety disorder). I also have brown hair and blue eyes. I have ten fingers and ten toes. I hate fruits and love vegetables (at least most of them), I know call me crazy. Ooops, guess I already established that fact.

My goal is to share my successes and my struggles. The highs and lows and wonderful inbetweens. How I try to mesh my life, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. It’s not easy, I don’t always win, but on the good days I remember to try.

Thanks for your comment, It is great to be able to to know that someone gets where you are or where you have been. I was inactive for many years and am still at a semi-active level depending on how I am doing.

Let me know what you think of my post, good, bad and otherwise. I am always interested to hear what you have to say.
